CT-101 Screw-type Temperature Probe

The CT-101 is a common screw-type wire-guided temperature sensor, widely used for temperature monitoring in automated equipment, control boxes, metal surfaces, pipe walls, and machine tools. It features easy installation, rapid response, and compact size, making it suitable for efficient on-site temperature detection.
Description
The CT-101 features a screw-type design, allowing for direct screwing into equipment surfaces or holes for quick and easy installation. It is suitable for applications with limited space or where secure mounting of the sensing point to a metal surface or structural component is required. A variety of sensing elements are available to suit diverse industrial environments and measurement needs.

Sensing Element
- Thermocouples: Types K, T, J, R, S, and B
- Platinum resistors: PT100, PT1000, PT500
Accuracy Class
- Class A, Class B, 1/10 DIN, 1/5 DIN, 1/3 DIN (select according to application)
Wiring Method
- 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire
- Outlet terminal type optional:
- Bare wire (exposed end)
- Quick connector (Mini Plug)
- Y-type terminal (U-type)
Wire Length
- The standard cable is 1 meter long, but can be extended as needed (3M/5M/10M, etc.).
Temperature Range (depending on the sensing element)
- Type K thermocouple: Approximately –50°C to +1200°C
- Type T thermocouple: Approximately –250°C to +350°C
- J-type thermocouple: approx. –40°C ~ +750°C
- R/S/B type thermocouple: approx. +600°C ~ +1600°C
- PT100: –200°C ~ +500°C (depending on package and wire material)
Probe Appearance and Dimensions
- Standard rod-shaped probe diameters: Φ3.2, Φ4.8, Φ5, Φ6.3 mm, Φ9.5 mm (custom sizes available)
- Probe length: can be specified as needed (e.g., 30mm, 50mm, 100mm and above)
Installation
- Insertion/contact sensor head, threadless design.
- It can be freely inserted into slots, embedded in devices, or secured with straps.
Wire Material Selection

| PVC wire | –20°C ~ +105°C | Economical and suitable for normal temperature and dry environments. |
| Teflon | –60°C ~ +200°C | Chemical resistant, soft, oil resistant, acid and alkali resistant. |
| Fiberglass braided yarn | Up to 400°C | High temperature resistant, suitable for industrial environments. |
| Metal braided wire | Up to 500°C | Anti-interference and wear-resistant, suitable for high-frequency applications. |
