The CT-102 is a general-purpose temperature sensor designed for direct attachment or insertion of the sensing probe into the surface of a target area for temperature measurement. It is widely used in metal processing equipment, control boxes, heating devices, and other applications requiring contact measurement. It features a simple structure, fast response, and flexible installation, making it suitable for use with temperature gauges or automated systems for real-time temperature control.

Description

The CT-102 features a screwless mounting structure and an insert or probe contact design, allowing for flexible placement on equipment surfaces or in holes. It is suitable for environments requiring direct contact between the sensing point and the equipment, such as metal surfaces, machine interiors, and pipe walls. Thermocouples or platinum resistors can be selected as the sensing element, and various connector types and wire materials can be used to provide a flexible and stable temperature detection solution.

Wire Length

  • The standard cable is 1 meter long, but can be extended as needed (3M/5M/10M, etc.).

Temperature Range (depending on the sensing element)

  • Type K thermocouple: Approximately –50°C to +1200°C
  • Type T thermocouple: Approximately –250°C to +350°C
  • J-type thermocouple: approx. –40°C ~ +750°C
  • R/S/B type thermocouple: approx. +600°C ~ +1600°C
  • PT100: –200°C ~ +500°C (depending on package and wire material)

Probe Appearance and Dimensions

  • T-Type thermocouple: approximately –250°C to +350°C
  • J-type thermocouple: approx. –40°C ~ +750°C
  • Screw sizes: M6, M8, 1/4" PT, 1/2" PT, 3/8" PT (custom sizes available)
  • Installation method: Screw-fixed type, convenient and secure.

Installation

  • Insertion/contact sensor head, threadless design.
  • It can be freely inserted into slots, embedded in devices, or secured with straps.

Wire Material Selection

Material Temperature Range Description
PVC wire –20°C ~ +105°C Economical and suitable for normal temperature and dry environments.
Teflon –60°C ~ +200°C Chemical resistant, soft, oil resistant, acid and alkali resistant.
Fiberglass braided yarn Up to 400°C High temperature resistant, suitable for industrial environments.
Metal braided wire Up to 500°C Anti-interference and wear-resistant, suitable for high-frequency applications.
